About this position: 

Passionate about travel and an avid social media user? As a Business Development Representative at TrovaTrip, you will be responsible for seeking out Creators across multiple social media platforms who are interested to plan, sell and host group trips with their community. The ideal candidate is a social media wiz, explorer, relentlessly persistent, and an excellent written story teller. In this role, you’ll develop a keen eye for what makes a successful Host, send direct messages or emails to prospects, and schedule meetings for an Account Executive/Manager to onboard Hosts to the platform. You will report to Sales Management and work closely with Account Executive/Management.

Essential Functions:

  • Prospect potential Hosts (content creators, topic experts, entrepreneurs, social media groups, etc) online and across social media platforms
  • Develop and execute strategies for finding and acquiring new Hosts
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads
  • Use creative messaging and leverage email automation to grow your pipeline
  • Schedule meetings for the Account Executive/Management team
  • Identify Host key performance indicators within your assigned category 
  • Identify and recommend new categories (verticals) for expansion
  • Work closely with Account Executive/Management to ensure leads convert to successful Hosts that plan and confirm (sell) multiple trips
  • Assume other duties and responsibilities as needed
  • Achieve and exceed your meeting and trip confirmation quota

Milestones:

  • 30 days:
    • Basic understanding of Hubspot Sales Professional
    • Grow a list of prospects within your category for outreach
    • Build email automation using Hubspot templates and sequences
    • Secure your first meeting with a Host
  • 60 days:
    • Schedule meetings weekly for your Account Executive 
    • Close your first lead and launch your first trip
    • Learn lead scoring and KPIs within your category 
  • 90 days:
    • Sell your first trip
    • 100% quarterly quota attainment for meeting and leads closed goal
    • Review and optimization of outreach performance
    • Begin testing new outreach tactics and work in expansion categories
  • 365 days:
    • Deep understanding of the customer 
    • Hubspot Sales Professional expert
    • Full upper funnel management including drip sequence enrollment
    • 100% annual quota attainment for meeting and leads closed goal
    • Skilled at breaking into expansion categories

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in Business Development or Sales
  • Experience using a CRM (Hubspot preferred)
  • Experience using Asana
  • Experience using Marketing Automation Platforms
